Activity Details

Beginning with a warmup, we will work on specific aspects of eskista from the shoulder movements adding in the torso and directions of the neck. We will then learn a short choreography from the song “Ya Lela Yehe Lela” by Alemeye Getachew combining many different styles of eskista! E

Notes

Suggested Materials - Either a Netela (Traditional cotton shawl) or a long piece of fabric to be wrapped around waist. A long sleeve shirt also works well.
